Laura & Chris // June 2022
All Hallows Church, Tillington & The Walled Garden at Cowdray, Midhurst
The brief - having grown up in the Sussex countryside, Laura wanted a soft, hand gathered feel across her wedding florals. To achieve this, ninety percent of the blooms and foliage used were picked from the cutting garden or sourced in the UK. The frothy whites and creams of the ammi majus, sweet peas and sweet williams were punctuated by english roses (the smell in my workshop was divine), and majestic lupins & foxgloves. Soft green foliage of alchamilla mollis, beech and oak provided the base for each design.

"Our wedding flowers were absolutely magical, and so far beyond what we could have envisaged. Nicky perfectly captured our brief for natural and seasonal flowers and foliage, and dealt with the unreliable british weather perfectly, ensuring she had grown plenty of beautiful blooms for the day! She also incorporated some of our own home grown blooms which made it extra special!
In the run up to the wedding, Nicky's communication was great, so we had no stress in the weeks before the wedding at all, we knew we were in safe hands! I'm not afraid to say that I'm incredibly fussy, but I could not fault Nicky's attitude or work, and our guests gave us so many compliments for our flowers too!"
