Moss & Twine is headed up by grower florist Nicky Moss. Founded during the 2020 pandemic, I, like so many others at the time, sought escape through gardening and joy in growing. With six packets of seeds, some hand me down tools and a lot of enthusiasm, I was rewarded with armfuls of cottage garden favourites. I started giving posies to family and friends with joy that I had actually grown something worth gifting!

The seed (so to speak) was sown and Moss & Twine was born.

Moss and Twine is based in Northchapel, West Sussex at the foothills of the South Downs national park. The cutting garden sits alongside my husband’s cattle, sheep and arable family farm, and I am often kept company by a friendly inquisitive calf or two whilst pottering in my polytunnel.

My style is natural, abundant, hand gathered designs which reflect the seasonal growing calendar. Throughout the growing season I aim to use blooms grown in the cutting garden and am passionate about the beauty & variety british flowers have to offer. I always use foam free mechanics to help keep my environmental footprint as low as possible.
